| Info: | We wanted color variety in our herd and addded a spot. Not just any spot, but a beautifully colored spot. Her white seems so white and her rose-dun makes her quite striking.
We purchased her at the Vermont sale from a farm in New Jersey. We were really surprised to see she originally was born in Indiana! We brought the Hoosier bred donkey "Back Home Again to Indiana."
She has a very mild personality and is quite friendly.
Katie, our daughter in law always had a strong love for LEO, our first jack born here. He was from Rosita bred to a spotted jack and was spotted as much as Foosie. Leo was sold and Katie always missed him. Well, Foosie is her replacement for him. Katie is somewhat my "barn girl" in that she takes care of them when we are gone, helps with barn cleaning, shots and worming. Now she has a special one. Well, not just one. All of them. |
