Info: In 2004 we were eager to add more sorrel to our herd. When we went to the sale in Vermont we fell in love with Wynona. We knew we had to have her. She is a drafty jennet with a loving attitude, almost to the point of being a pest. Wynona has been a great brood jennet for us. Her first 3 foals were all jennets that did very well for us in select sales in IA and OH. Her fourth foal was a little jack that was quickly spoken for and he is being used as a herd sire at a herd in KY. Wynona's fifth offspring, Wynotta, was a part of our 2014 show string and has placed very well in all of her classes including a 3rd at the National Show at the Kansas Donkey Days. In 2016 Wynona had her sixth foal which was a jack that we gelded and he became a special Christmas Day present from Santa to a little boy in North Carolina. We received a message back from the mother of the little boy a couple of days after Christmas and she told us that Santa made the delivery on Christmas morning and Wynona's little boy brayed away and made her son go to the windown to look out. He was so thrilled that Santa had received his letter and had brought him a couple of pet donkeys.

Wynona is currently open, but will be bred to Obsession in the spring of 2017. We are considering selling Wynona as an open jennet. We may adjust the price once she is confirmed bred. If you would like to purchase her and change the breeding we are willing to discuss the option.
